The Buthan skirmishes between China and India ended with India retrieving its troops and practically accepting the Chinese rules.
The Indian military is quite depleted and obsolete and now cannot compete with China.
China showed the world that it really is the Asian hegemon of the moment.
The Indian/Chinese hostilities will resurface at some point as there are too many conflicting interests, but at the moment the Indian Army is outgunned.
A similar action was won against Vietnam.
In a sense, on a power basis (so not comparing at all with Nazi), China is acting really as the insurgents power as Germany did in the years before the Second World War.
As now, Germany was allowed to annex Austria and Czechoslovakia.
Then the dominat power, the British Empire, intervened.
I wonder if history really repeats itself.
