Another part of the populism rising puzzle

Posted: July 15, 2016 in Uncategorized

The Global Consultancy Firm McKinsey just released a study on global trade effect and wealth on the developed economies families.

From 2005 to 2014 the median real income fell for 65% to 70& of households (540 million people!). Some tax effect softened the burden – but other (eg now you cannot live without a phone with data allowance) worsen.

In Italy 100% of the median families are worse off (thanks Euro) and in the US 81%.

And the real income growth between 93 and 2005 was 2%…not much better – but not falling.

So you know as supposedly crazy populist like Trump (or Grillo) are winning hearts and minds!
