The Australian election has passed and there are no winners.
Actually the winner is “none of the above”.
The people do not want Liberal or Labor. This is the same trend in Europe with the rise of the right, Brexit or Trump.
It is the people vs the establishment, but, aside a few independents, there is not (yet) a string figurehead to rally the resentment.
Resentment of the middle class that costs have gone up of at least 30%, that our children can’t buy a property as they compete with investors that have a 30 to 40% tax discount, resentment that the 2 political parties are practically the same – one representing the plutocracy of finance and real estate magnates the other representing the interests of the Unions (showed of by the depicable taking over of the Country Fire Authority by the Unions with the open help of the Labor Government)
