On Twitter there is #thisisacoup trending as it is not just me that thinks that the Germany ultimatum to Greece is essentially an economic coup.
The Argentinean are mindful of the numerous crisis they had (including the always brewing question on the Falkland) , so they are looking carefully at what is happening to Greece – so they are preparing themselves for a Greek scenario!
On July 7th, the AFI (Argentina Federal Intelligence) introduced new guidelines which specify as “economic coup/economic warfare” one of the action that is considered an attack to the constitutional order. This can be considered an attack generated from external actor which can be retaliated with conflict.
So, technically, if Greece was Argentina – the EU would have just committed…an act of aggression conducive to war!
