As I mentioned a few post ago, Turkey is preparing for various options.
They amassed quite a considerable fire-power along the border (5 brigades supported by the Turkish Second Army close by).
They most likely want to create a buffer zone between Turkey and the various terrorist factions, but still is not decided as any attack will be successful, but not without costs.
There should not be any market repercussion (but Turkey is part of NATO).
Logically such intervention would heighten the risks of mass terrorist attack within Turkey. So be careful if you go and holiday there.
