Islamic State always had its target on Saudi Arabia. But they know that is a hard target. In the last month, with a series of attack specially against the shia minority, their strategy is clearer. Create a Shite/Sunni conflict in Saudi.
Good idea, but this time they will be against one of the best security apparatus of the world with an infinite amount of resources. And even if on the surface Saudi Sunni will be against the Saudi Shia….when the security is paramount divisions tends to subside.
So IS will keep creating issue, but the Kingdom of Saud is a bit beyond their capacity.
