Israeli Prime Minister has warned about the consequences on letting Iran have an easy deal with the US.
This often has been described has a personality clash between President Obama and PM Netanyahu.
Probably they do not like each other, but you do not do foreign policy on “liking or not”.
It is actually part of the strategy changes of the US.
After two bloody wars (Afghanistan and Iraq), US has come to term that the Middle East cannot be pacified with brute force.
So the new strategy is to create middle size powers (Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran) that keep in check each other, with maybe just some limited support via airforce assets like in Syria and Iraq (the strange alliance Iranian ground troops with US air cover).
Logically Israel (nor Saudi, by the way) likes this new approach as they always have been “special” allies.
But there is nothing they can do.
It is too early to say if this is a positive or negative outcome. At the moment it seems to be forming a strange alliance between Saudi and Israel, while Turkey “swings both way” (between them and Iran)
